|Campbell, James M., of House Springs, Missouri, was born February 25, 1926, in Roselle, Missouri, to Freeman and Lottie (nee Mayberry) Campbell, and entered into rest, Sunday, September 16, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 21 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, four (3) sisters, Mary Tesreau, Annabelle Runge and Alma Thake, and three (3) brothers, Louis Campbell, Elzie Campbell and Elmer Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Etta (nee Mund) Campbell, of House Springs, Missouri, married June 14, 1946,
one (1) daughter, Susan (Noel) Warner, of House Springs, Missouri,
one (1) grandchild, Aaron
one (1) sister, and Violet Edwards, of Dixon, Missouri,
one (1) brother, Leslie Campbell, of Wentzville, Missouri,
two (2) brothers in law, Ronald Mund, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Harold Mund, of Bourbon, Missouri,
James enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Union Local 600 and the VFW of Eureka and Pacific. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Wednesday September 19, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service will be held Thursday September 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Donations can be made to the Jefferson Heights Baptist Church.
